DESCRIPTION. 

BUILDING A THRIVING FAMILY (BTF) provides 10 workshop sessions of proven, practical, faith-based training in marriage and parenting to give the perspective, knowledge, and skills needed to build a thriving family. 

NEED. 

Most couples want a better family. Many long for something more in their marriage.  Others long for practical help steering their children through the gauntlet of modern living.  Based on the timeless principles of the Bible, BTF combines practical relational training with accessible spiritual direction in an atmosphere of encouragement and challenge to help couples make the decisions and take the steps needed to build a family that not only lasts but thrives! 

 

MEET OUR SPEAKERS. 

Roc and Bev Bottomly.

Roc is a former military pilot, Senior Pastor and Senior Fellow for Marriage at the Focus on the Family Institute. Roc and Bev have taught marriage since 2001 both locally and internationally. Roc & Bev have been married 45+ years. They have modeled their message, and their course always receives high reviews.

Mike and Christy Adel.

Mike and Christy are true “spiritual parents.” They have taught both marriage and parenting to couples of all ages for years. Their specialty is “Parenting on Purpose,” and they bring practical help to all who want to be more intentional about raising children who are fun to live with – now and in the future.

  • Giving Roots – Helping Your Kids Experience God’s Love… and Love Him Back.

  • Setting Boundaries – Discipline with Love.

  • Homemade Sex Ed – Protecting and Preparing

PROCESS.  Life change takes practice.  BTF provides it. The BTF method is tailored to the ways adults learn best.

  • At-home practice.

 

COST:

  • $50 per couple.

  • $30 for singles.

  • $5 per child per session. (Pay at the door).

  • Families with 2 or more children $10 flat rate per session. (Pay at the door).

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Childcare is available: $5 per session per child. Pay at the door.

  • Snacks and drinks are provided. Lunch is included on Saturday.

SESSIONS:

  • Session One: Thursday Evening, 7-9PM

  • Session Two: Friday Evening, 7-9PM

  • Session Three: Saturday, 10AM-1PM

  • Lunch Break: 1-2PM

  • Session Four: Saturday, 2-5PM
